Shelf Life: Exclusive Print Release with Dave Pollot and The Tax Collection

Guy Hepner and The TAX Collection are pleased to present the second exclusive print release with artist Dave Pollot featuring a set of two limited edition prints from his his new series, Shelf Life. The prints will be available world wide to shop online at from Thursday May 21st at 2pm EST.

Exclusively online, this event comes as a lead up to his September solo exhibition, Imposter, where Dave will focus on creating contemporary still lifes out of found/thrifted art. Along with the prints, Guy Hepner is also excited to unveil two new paintings and a number of hand finished works on paper to complete the series.

About the Artist
Dave Pollot is a New York based artist who is known for his altered thrift art paintings.  He finds unwanted artwork and adds his own touch – most often pop culture parodies – and in doing so, bridges the divide between classic and pop art.His artwork has been displayed and found homes in galleries, businesses, and private collections in all 50 states and in over 40 countries around the globe.  His work has attracted attention from the media both in the U.S. and abroad, including Business Insider, Instagram, and the SyFy Channel, and his corporate clients include SONY, Instagram, and Troegs Brewing Company among others. When he’s not painting, he can be found spending time with his wife and two dogs.
