Mr. Brainwash: Artists’ Best Friend

Mr Brainwash: Artists’ Best Friend

On Thursday, December 3rd, Guy Hepner and The Tax Collection are pleased to release a set of exclusive prints titled “Artists’ Best Friend,” unique hand-embellished works on paper, and three original paintings with Mr. Brainwash. The pieces measure to be 33 x 22 inches. The artworks will be available to shop online at guyhepnereditions.com from 2 pm EST.

Thierry Guetta, better known by his pseudonym, Mr. Brainwash, has been delivering street art to the masses for more than a decade. He grew in popularity after being featured in the critically acclaimed documentary directed by Banksy, “Exit Through the Gift Shop.” The French artist started as the owner of a clothing store and later began documenting the lives and work of street artists like Banksy and Shepard Fairey.

Of course, street art deeply influences his art, but it is also clear that he finds inspiration from pop art as well, making his impact on the world of contemporary art undeniable. His works can be easily described as larger than life, not only due to their size but also because of the work he has done with names like Madonna, Rick Ross, Coca Cola, and Marvel Comics. The mastery of his craft is recognized internationally, as he has shown and speaks across the world.

The statements Guetta makes extend beyond his artwork alone as he regularly donates to support the Los Angeles LGBT Center, the victims of 9/11, the Prince’s Trust for the benefit of vulnerable youth, and much more. His impact is not only in pieces he creates but the way he lives.

The artworks will be available to shop online at guyhepnereditions.com or contact info@guyhepner for more information.
