Through his use of various mediums, including painting, sculpture, & drawing, he creates a sense of innocence and vulnerability in his subjects.Jones’ art is informed by his experiences growing up obsessively watching cartoons and comics. His work often features wide-eyed animals displaying often ecstatic or uneasy emotion, imbuing them with a sense of individuality and personality.
In exploring the ideas of wonder as well as uneasiness, Jones’ work often portrays his subjects in moments of solitude and introspection, highlighting the complexities of optimism as well as loneliness.
