Hollywood by Chris Heads
Hollywood by Chris Heads
Chris Head ‘s colorful and playful approach to photography gives him his edge in the world of fashion photography. His dedication to the artistic nature of his work creates vivid images that shock and delight. His photographs are vibrant and full of life, and he captures model’s in a way that is singularly his. Head’s uses color and movement to convey emotion. His models always look like they’re having the time of their life, a quality to his work that makes him all the more desirable.
His photographs, particularly fashion and female portraits, have a wonderfully youthful, blunt and colorful glow. Chris Heads has been published in many magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, Elle, Glamour, GQ, Esquire and more. He also worked for many brands such as Levi’s, Miss Selfrige, Galeries Lafayette.
Chris Heads work has been shown all across the globe, from London’s National Portrait Gallery to exhibitions in Paris and Los Angeles. Being a retiring kind of guy, photographer Chris Heads sent us a list of his likes rather than any biographical information. These included: gelati, hip hop, girls, Grandmaster Flash, chocolate, Lake Como, Miles Davis, south London, and biscuits. Chris Heads is well known for his photography in the New York City and Los Angeles art scenes, and is represented by Guy Hepner.
