World Record Price Realised for Mark Seliger

At a time when virtually all investible assets and commodities are being revalued, within the art market great pieces are still highly prized. Guy Hepner based photographer Mark Seliger enjoyed a record breaking day at auction in London on Wednesday. Hi iconic portrait of model Gisele Bundchen soared to £22,500 ($34,000). The edition was originally released with Guy Hepner at $7,000 in 2005, and had previously sold at auction in November 2006 for £11,500.
