Two New Damien Hirst Pieces Available
Apr 28th, 2009

Two new Damien Hirst prints are now available through Guy Hepner, “Ring a Ring of Roses” and “Spinning Wheel". These colorful prints resemble Damien Hirst’s bright artwork, such as his piece, “All You Need is Love, Love, Love,” and are examples of Hirst’s incredible print making abilities in a completely different aspect than some of his other collections, such as the “Pharmacy” print collection.
Damien Hirst’s artwork is internationally renowned and has completely dominated the contemporary art scene. His widely known iconic work includes, “The Shark”, a formaldehyde immersed shark in a vitrine, from his collection “Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living.” This collection also included his his piece “Mother and Child Divided,” which holds a cow and calf in two separate composites of class, silicone sealants, as well as formaldehyde. The sale of this piece made him known as the world’s second most expensive living artist. Damien Hirst’s paintings and sculptures are also widely popular, such as “For the Love of God,” a skull made out of platinum, 8,601 diamonds and human teeth, making it the worlds most expensive piece of art ever created.
