Guy Hepner has recently acquired the new collection of photography by Warwick Saint. The Night Hotel is a foray into the exotic world of tattooing. An artform in its own right, the rise of the tattoo from the fairground to popular culture has been incessant since the start of the decade, encouraged and accelerated by celebrity endorsement and mass-market advertising campaigns. Warwick Saint's body of work captures "the art within the art", a curious mix of hand drafted decadence and scientific precision with breathtaking results.
