Pulling from his roots in street art and from his Pop Culture inspiration, some of KAWS most recent work comes in his creation of the set and artistic approach to the infamous Lindsay Lohan's Complex Magazine photo shoot. While ridicule, judgement, gossip and disdain are all regularly thrown the starlette's way, the public remains obsessed. Complex Magazine captured Lohan in a promiscuous shoot in May, only weeks before her big court day which has now dramatically sent Lindsay to prison.

What makes this shoot personal to Guy Hepner is the success of the artist. KAWS relies on his street-art and pop-culture infused mind to create the set of the shoot. His work exists in concert with Lindsay in each frame, and acts as either the background, a disruption to the image, or as a prop she engages.
