ANNOUNCE THE RELEASE DATE FOR BACKSTAGE VOLUME II

Guy Hepner Los Angeles and New York based photographer Gavin Bond announce November 25, 2008 as the formal release date for Backstage Volume II. Working backstage at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show for several years, Gavin Bond has an enviable view into the world of high fashion and lingerie that is Victoria's Secret. In 2007, the photographer collaborated with Guy Hepner to produce Volume I, a portfolio of 12 prints, housed in an artist designed clamshell box. The portfolio was such a success that it sold out in 4 days. A large format version of one of the images Sold at Christie's London in May 2008 for in excess of $16,000, a huge figure for an artist fresh to the market.

Bond has now turned his attentions to Volume II. Working with the feedback of collectors of the first volume, the artist has promised an even more spectacular, decadent and visually stunning experience for Volume II. The format of 12 prints in a clamshell box, with only 10 boxes being produced will remain, but with major changes. Each print will be archivally mounted ensuring pristine condition is maintained. The box itself will be image wrapped with previously unreleased imagery and contact sheets from the archive, making it a visual spectacle. Although the prints will be the same size, the box will be thinner and more moveable, based on feedback from Volume I. The inside cover will also house a separate index catalogue documenting the contents of the set and background on its production. Intitially only available on request to owners of Volume I, who will be given purchasing priority, Volume II will be bigger, better and more beautiful.
