AUTHENTICITY

Each and every piece supplied by Guy Hepner Contemporary is guaranteed authentic for life. Upon purchase, the client receives a written invoice stating artist, date, medium, title and edition size, plus a condition report. This document is legally binding the world over, ensuring maximum protection for the client. Furthermore, clients are freely and actively encouraged to send works for additional authentication via the estate of the artist, such as The Andy Warhol Authentication Board.

Due to recent events involving numerous auction houses selling contemporary art, we are no longer able to offer auction house expertise as a reliable source of independent authentication, based on their inability to verify authenticity of certain artists' works prior to cataloguing. Authentication by the artist directly can be arranged relatively easily in most cases.
